Nicolené van Vuuren currently serves as the Head Academic at The IIE's Varsity College Cape Town.

Prior to this role, she worked at Pearson Institute of Higher Education as a Professional Development Consultant, overseeing the professional academic development of all academic staff members.

Her research focuses on the fields of Psychology, Education, and Criminology.
