Brief Bio

I am the Faculty Head fo Edcuation on the IIE Varsity College Cape Town campus.I have a PhD in Curriculum Studies,with specifc research in multicultural education in SA. With a deep commitment to fostering inclusive and critical learning environments, I actively contribute to the fi eld of education through my research on brave spaces, transformative conversations, and

educational diversity.

I had my first book puiblished in 2024, "Currere from Apartheid to Inclusion". I serve on the IIE ethics clearance committee, and sit on the editorial board of a journal called "Currere and Praxis", where I peer-review scholarly work. I have a book chapter being published in 2025. My passion for student development, has secured me a leading position in the new GRIT3sixT program to be launched nationally in 2025.

I have presented research at an international educational research conference in Cambridge UK. I also supervise post-grad educational students with their research projects.
