Brief Bio

Farrell West is a dedicated tertiary educator and scholar, currently serving as a Digital Design and Graphic Design Lecturer at the IIE Vega in Johannesburg, South Africa. With an undergraduate degree in Multimedia Design and an honors degree in Animation, Farrell brings a unique blend of creativity and technical acumen to the educational sphere.

At IIE Vega, Farrell is celebrated for designing innovative curricula that foster a dynamic learning environment. Her instructional methods are aimed at cultivating critical thinking, problem-solving abilities, and collaborative skills in students, integrating these competencies seamlessly with practical applications within the digital design space.

Currently enrolled in a Master's of Education program with a specialization in Information and Communication Technologies (ICT), Farrell is committed to exploring how technology can facilitate pedagogical innovation, thereby enhancing educational outcomes across various learning landscapes.
